It’s officially Fall… the leaves are starting to change and there is a hint of chill in the air. Thus, we start to don our scarves and sweaters and cozy up with our warm cups of hot chocolate. Okay, time to wake up from my fantasy… this is just what I imagine Fall to be like. In my reality, it is still warm and sunny and I can hardly get away with wearing leggings. I envy those who actually have seasons! Fortunately, I have makeup as my outlet to embrace the seasonal changes. In my opinion, all of the most beautiful makeup colors are in autumn. We can finally start to break out our warm, burnt oranges, coppers and burgundies which embody the spirit of Fall.
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in #60 – Now it just isn’t Fall without a deep burgundy lipstick, now is it? If you are looking for a good staple burgundy lipstick then this one has all around superb quality and is even comparable to my high-end lipsticks.
Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Rum Riche – This is the perfect nude to wear for fall. A huge trend right now is the ’90’s lip’ which is basically just any shade of brown or mauve. Most likely you are thinking that brown lipstick won’t be very flattering, but if you choose a shade with a hint of a pink undertone such as this one it can make a beautiful statement.
Inglot Lipstick in #135 – This rosy pink lipstick is going to be my go-to everyday lipstick for fall. The formula of Inglot lipsticks is so pigmented and moisturizing and they are very long-lasting… I have found a new love ❤
Buxom Bold Gel Lipstick in Evocative Petal – This unique shade seems to be inspired by Autumn being as it has a mixture of burnt orange and red. It is so stunning and isn’t a shade you see often enough.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina – One of my absolute favorite lip colors to wear is this pinky-mauve-nude which is very trendy right now and is the perfect lip color for Fall. Liquid lipsticks are EXTREMELY intense and opaque so be sure to apply them with caution! You may also want to blot it or blend it in with your finger to make it less harsh.
Ardency Inn Manuka Honey Pigment in Heaven – This shade is so unique because it is a champagne with both silver and bronze undertones. The result is an antique gold that has a very slight olive tint to it. I love this color for everyday wear in Fall time because it is neutral but still has a kick to it.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Baked – You can’t have Fall eyeshadow without a really nice gold and this one is my all-time favorite because it has a coppery undertone to it, making it flattering to a variety of skin tones.
Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow in Grandstand – Grandstand is a gorgeous rosy brown with taupe undertones that just screams Fall to me and is perfect for an everyday look.
MAC Eyeshadow in Antiqued – This eyeshadow is basically Fall in a tin. It reminds me of that deep rust color the leaves turn just before they fall to the ground. Pack it all over the lid for a gorgeous fall time smokey eye.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Roach – I love this color in the Fall if I am going for a more cool toned eye look because it is a gorgeous taupe brown color, yet it has a slight warmth to it with the purple/burgundy undertone.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Last Call – When I think of Fall, I think of jewel tones. This is one of my absolute favorite purple eyeshadows because it has warm, reddish undertones making it especially gorgeous for Fall!
Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow in Charmed – Silvers and greens are two of my favorite colors to wear and this eyeshadow combines the two to make a stunning bright silver with olive undertones…. there is just something about this shade that seems appropriate for Fall.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Preppy – This isn’t the prettiest color at first site, but it is a great crease color for your day to day look. It is also a great neutral to put in the crease if you are going to be wearing green eyeshadow for Fall.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Morocco – This eyeshadow looks pretty scary in the pan but don’t be intimidated by this burnt orange because it’s perfect for warming up your eyeshadow in the crease for an autumnal look.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Chickadee – Similarly to the previous shade I told you about, just the smallest amount of this color will add the subtlest amount of warmth to your eyes and tie your look together.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Cherry Cola – This is a go-to shade year round but I had to mention it in this post because it is that gorgeous rich burgundy that everyone craves around Fall time.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in High Tea – It looks as though it is a matte khaki green in the pan. However, when you apply it to your eyes it comes across more gray than it appears. I love pairing this eyeshadow in the crease with metallic silvers and greens (such as Charmed) on the lid.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Unexpected – This dusty mauve is a beautiful color to put in the crease because it adds just the right amount of depth and warmth to the eyes which is why I love it soooo much.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Peacock – This deep, dark teal is the perfect color to deepen up the outer v of your eye ~ especially if you are doing an emerald eye look.
